Andy's Birthday Bash Ride

https://strava.app.link/YG6RZny5BNb out with Andy and Lynne for today so it's over the top and down to Braunton to pick up The Tarka Trail then along the estuary to Barnstaple where it's time to head to the bike shop Andy's front brake is binding even swapped wheel with Lynne to no avail there's no mechanic in today but free use of the bike stand and multi tool after a lot of faffing new pads wheel in wheel out more faffing trying to push the calipers back my park tyre levers to the rescue wheel back in success back to the trail out to Fremington Quay coffee stop the Instow lunch stop overlooking Appledore cheese and onion cob from pocket lovingly prepared earlier by me of course and it's time to head back retracing the trail to Braunton then proper gravel to Crow point past the sand dunes to Saunton then Croyde, Woolacombe and up to Martehoe and the site that's some climb

Check out my ride on Strava: https://strava.app.link/x5f4BOrGbYb finally over the lurgy so out on the road bike might see a bit of light drizzle according to the forecast which they definitely got wrong as it chucked down well at least the bike got a wash, out through Short Heath, Shareshill, Little/Great Saredon ten minutes break at the pond by the A5 returning via Four Ashes, up Bognop-Huff-N-Puff Essington and Willenhall absolutely soaked by the end and they're all out today practicing there lack of driving skills in the wet basically poor
