The Golden Boys and The Golden Pagoda

https://strava.app.link/NQspYfIZhNb it Friday and it's stopped raining so out on the gravel bike it is usual circuit into the Big city of  Birmingham where they're preparing for the tory party conference security fencing guard and police all over the place and I mean all over took a bit of a detour around the conference centre over the Black Sabbath Bridge past The  Golden Boys that's Boulton, Watt and Murdoch even the trams are stopping short and not going all the way up Broad Street returning via Telford main Line another detour around Edgbaston Reservoir level seems really low and past The Pagoda then onto the Walsall Canal which they're dredging as it's silted up and they've overloaded the buttie boat it's stuck fast sent for a second tug and finally it's free after about twenty minutes of huffing and puffing only to get it stuck a second time more head scratching but it only took 10 minutes this time such fun

Check out my ride on Strava: https://strava.app.link/x5f4BOrGbYb finally over the lurgy so out on the road bike might see a bit of light drizzle according to the forecast which they definitely got wrong as it chucked down well at least the bike got a wash, out through Short Heath, Shareshill, Little/Great Saredon ten minutes break at the pond by the A5 returning via Four Ashes, up Bognop-Huff-N-Puff Essington and Willenhall absolutely soaked by the end and they're all out today practicing there lack of driving skills in the wet basically poor
