One Hump or Two Cambridge

https://www.strava.com/activities/12442392917 longest ride of the week for today off to the University City of Cambridge back through Buckham brutal headwind at times didn't like that bit along the A458 dual carriageway traffic belting past,  the cycleway supposed to be at the side wasn't there it's disappeared under the new road construction still no other way when you don't know the area like the back of your hand was glad to get off it. Arrived at the outskirts of Cambridge and past the American War Cemetery got to stop and pay my respects and give thanks for their sacrifices and onward to the University area with a walk around it has to be taking in all the architecture over the River Cam past the Chinese Bridge and it's time for a break plus coffee 20 mins or so then it's time to head back via countless villages including a guided busway with a superb cycleway along side to St Ives really pretty town think Oliver Cromwell was born there as he's got a statue in the middle of the town plus there's a beautiful old Toll Bridge too back through Godmanchester and Huntingdon bugger it school chuck out time and the cycle paths are heaving with kids don't think I've ever seen so many on bikes and they're all over the bloody place

Check out my ride on Strava: https://strava.app.link/x5f4BOrGbYb finally over the lurgy so out on the road bike might see a bit of light drizzle according to the forecast which they definitely got wrong as it chucked down well at least the bike got a wash, out through Short Heath, Shareshill, Little/Great Saredon ten minutes break at the pond by the A5 returning via Four Ashes, up Bognop-Huff-N-Puff Essington and Willenhall absolutely soaked by the end and they're all out today practicing there lack of driving skills in the wet basically poor
