All the fun of the fair that's my dinner money gone but on some shiney new cleats snapped the old ones

Not the ride I'd planned but got on the bike realised that I've snapped the cleat on the right shoe so of to the closest place with a bike shop and a Halfords so along the coast to Skegness finally find Bike Bitz who said they'd got some but alas only Welgo so off I go to find Halfords
Hopefully they'll have some last pair in the store now that's lucky thumbs up to them they even let me sit down and fit them in the store but that's most of my dinner money gone so it's back to the Camper for a sandwich and coffee pretty flat but a brutal wind made it feel uphill all the way back, I normally pack a spare pair of cleat and the first time you actually need them you guessed it didn't pack them bloody typical

Check out my ride on Strava: https://strava.app.link/x5f4BOrGbYb finally over the lurgy so out on the road bike might see a bit of light drizzle according to the forecast which they definitely got wrong as it chucked down well at least the bike got a wash, out through Short Heath, Shareshill, Little/Great Saredon ten minutes break at the pond by the A5 returning via Four Ashes, up Bognop-Huff-N-Puff Essington and Willenhall absolutely soaked by the end and they're all out today practicing there lack of driving skills in the wet basically poor
